How do I begin with the ever so popular GoDaddy? As with anything there are pros and cons to using GoDaddy. Some pros that I saw as I was researching them, are that their prices do not seem to be half bad. I did however notice that they try to sell you a bunch of additional stuff, such as different features that do not come with the upfront cost. Their hosting package and their features, seems to be pretty user friendly, even for the first time user (such as myself), it would probably be easy to set up. There are quite a few common cons that people seemed to complain about. One con that I saw frequently, is that their sites had a lot of downtime. I also read a lot of reviews that stated that GoDaddy limits your disk space and databases. Many also complained that it wassometimes quite hard for them to leave the webhost.
They are a pay as you go website, which can mean that it may be a pretty good price for you. You can customize it just the way you want your site to be. If you need something small, this is probably a good way for you to go. As I was doing research on them, I saw that overall they have good support and of course the good prices. However, if you are new to web design, you would probably have a harder time with them.
In Motion seems to have pretty good pricing. It seems to have user friendly features that just about anyone could use. Their customer service seems to be pretty bad. There are many people who claim to have lots of technical problems that are never fixed through their technical support. Overall, In Motion gets the job done, but there are plenty of other options available.
